ONE INTRODUCING THE FAITH OF GOD
Mark 11:22 (extracted from Youngs Literal Translation) reads: < And JESUS answering saith to them, "Have faith of GOD." >
Some study editions of the KJV have on margin the literal translation as being <"Have the faith of GOD."> The literal translation poses exciting possibilities to us as children of GOD. Can we actually have the faith of GOD? If so, how? This is what this book will address.
Revelation 21:11 describes the Bride as actually, < "Having the glory of GOD"! >
How do we have the glory of GOD?
Given that faith is the "substance" (Greek: "hupostasis") of hope, as noted in Hebrews 11:1 (KJV/NKJV), is the Bride of the LAMB having the glory of GOD, actually tied to the "substance" of GOD’s own hope (Romans 8:20; Romans 8:19-21) - which is HIS faith - being perfected and completed into the Bride, so as to give actual expression - in "substance" - to the glory of HIS grace? Is the substance of GOD’s faith the medium for the communication of (the glory of ) HIS grace (see Ephesians 1:6; Ephesians 1:3-6; Ephesians 2:8; Ephesians 2:10)? Is the "substance" of GOD’s faith being perfected and completed into the Bride, the outworking of the evidence of GOD’s own hope for the revealing of HIS own sons (see Romans 8:19-21; Romans 8:24 a, NKJV) - in the glory of HIS grace? As we shall discover, Scripture actually proclaims "yes" and "Amen" to all of these questions! And this "yes" and "Amen" is entirely configured in CHRIST JESUS - by the HOLY SPIRIT, according to the FATHER’s will. This entire configuration of "yes" and "Amen" in CHRIST JESUS is to be manifested in hearts of flesh that are of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS (see John 1:16-17, NASB+NKJV+KJV; Ezekiel 36:26; John 6:51; John 6:53; John 2:1-25
Corinthians 3:3, NKJV+NASB). This heart of flesh is of the substance of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS. This heart of flesh is meant to become our - pure - heart! In this chapter, we shall talk of how the faith of GOD is communicated into us in CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT, according to the FATHER’s will.
There is indeed an awesome (and necessary) intent and design to GOD’s faith for each and every one of us! Praise the LORD! The intent and design of GOD’s faith is framed in Scripture and is exclu- sively communicated to us in CHRIST JESUS. GOD’s faith has an awe- some design and purpose to it. And, GOD’s faith is entirely communi- cated to us through the Testimony Of JESUS. The Scripture has the intent of communicating an awesome reality of GOD’s faith that will actually result in us becoming sons of GOD in fully functional terms. The Scripture is GOD-breathed and carries the intents of GOD’s faith and will for each one of us. GOD’s faith is communicated to us through Introducing the Faith of GOD the fullness of JESUS CHRIST. Ephesians 1:23 instructs us that CHRIST JESUS’ fullness is to fill all-in-all.
GOD’s faith is channeled - into actual functional realities - through the fullness of CHRIST JESUS filling all-in-all! And, this realization in our inward parts reveals the Mystery of GOD’s Will!
It is the fullness of JESUS CHRIST that gives true communication to the "I AM" of GOD to us (see John 17:6; John 17:26; John 1:16-17, NASB+NKJV+KJV and John 1:18, NASB). It is the Testimony of JESUS that gives true expression to all that derives from the "I AM" of GOD to us.
GOD’s faith is therefore necessarily channeled (and configured) into our being - in functional terms - through the fullness of CHRIST JESUS. The substance of GOD’s faith is channeled into us through the fullness of CHRIST JESUS. And, this must be so because JESUS CHRIST is the Bread of Life.
And, as the substance of HIS fullness, that is the Bread Of Life, is worked into us, JESUS CHRIST actually becomes to each of us the Way, the Truth and the Life.
JESUS CHRIST is the true Vine and we are in fully functional terms HIS branches. This reality of being HIS branch is a fully functional prophetic reality designed through substance communicated into us by the HOLY SPIRIT (see John 16:14; John 16:13-15) in the FATHER’s will. The substance that makes us HIS branch is entirely of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS! In Ezekiel 44:28, GOD astonishingly declares: < ... I AM their inheri- tance .... I AM their possession! > The realities of the "I AM" of GOD (and the realities of all that derive from the "I AM" of GOD) are communicated into us - in fully deriva- tive and subordinate terms - by substance that is of the actual fullness of CHRIST JESUS (MASHIAH YESHUA).
It is the fullness of JESUS CHRIST that is to become our inheritance and pos- session. And, this entire inheritance and possession is described in substance. This substance is meant to take form in our inward parts as a Covenant Inheritance and Possession of all that the faith of GOD has ordained for us in CHRIST JESUS. The faith of GOD is what enables and facilitates this communication in substance.
Because GOD has the intent of revealing HIMSELF as our inheritance and possession - through substance manifested through the fullness of CHRIST JESUS - the possibilities in Christian life and ministry are potentially limitless!
And, the potential for the limitless comes about through the revelation of CHRIST JESUS and HIS Fullness - by substance - into our inward parts (see John 17:6 a,26; 1:16-17, NASB+NKJV+KJV and 1:18, NASB).
It is no wonder therefore that the full counsel of GOD’s Word - in the Witness of GOD’s faith over us - declares that we are each fearfully and wonderfully made.
And, this reality of being fearfully and wonderfully made comes about as we are each actually fashioned in the image and fullness of CHRIST JESUS (see Romans 8:29 and John 1:16, NASB+NKJV+KJV). CHRIST JESUS is the blueprint for the sons of GOD to be revealed - through sub- stance communicated - in the glory of the FATHER’s grace (see Revelation 21:9-11)!
CHRIST JESUS’ fullness is being configured into us in GOD’s faith and purpose for us each! This is the work and ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT as noted in John 16:14; John 16:13-15.
And, potentially all that the FATHER has for us is in CHRIST JESUS, is brought to us by the HOLY SPIRIT, in fully functional terms! Romans 8:2 addresses this reality as the Law Of Life, by the HOLY SPIRIT in CHRIST JESUS!
Introducing the Faith of GOD And so, the reality of being fearfully and wonderfully made is entirely and exclusively an expression of GOD’s faith (and love) for us (see Psalms 139:14; Psalms 139:13-18) channeled into us through JESUS CHRIST, in HIS Fullness - by the HOLY SPIRIT!
We are the FATHER’s sons being created in the image and fullness of the SON (see Romans 8:29-30; John 1:16-17, KJV/NKJV/NASB and Ephesians 2:10).
And, this new creation is the workmanship of GOD fashioned out of the substance of HIS faith manifested to us in CHRIST JESUS (in the sub- stance of HIS Fullness), by the HOLY SPIRIT! This short book is written to explain the fact that the Scriptures speak clearly that we all have the astonishing potentials of realizing and expressing realities - in CHRIST JESUS - that derive from the actual faith of GOD for us.
We are called to discover and express all that derives from GOD’s faith over our lives - in thought, word and deed! In the actuality of GOD’s faith, we come forth as a new creation in con- formance to CHRIST JESUS.
GOD’s faith brings us into fully functional conformance with CHRIST JESUS! The HOLY SPIRIT ensures this creative configuration of us each - in the FATHER’s Sovereign will and design of us, in the image and full- ness of the SON!
GOD has expressed HIS abiding hope for us (see Romans 8:19-21; Romans 8:24 a, NKJV) through HIS Word. The substance of HIS hope is the blueprint of true faith. The channel for the expression of the true faith of GOD is JESUS CHRIST, WHO is prophetically addressed (in Hebrews 12:2 a) as the Author and Finisher of our faith!
GOD reveals HIS Word and the contents of HIS Word to us in CHRIST JESUS, WHO is designated in the faith of GOD to be to us the Way, the Truth and the Life!
GOD’s Word and the contents of GOD’s Word come to us in the Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST. And, the Spirit and Life of CHRIST JESUS will give actual definition to the Way, the Truth and the Life to us each. And this reality - described as the Way, the Truth and the Life - will be fully functional, enabling us to ultimately become actual, functioning sons of GOD! The Way, the Truth and the Life is prophetically the functioning conduit of GOD’s holy faith. The substance of GOD’s hope is HIS faith. HIS faith is the spiritual driving force for the fulfillment of the prophetic content of Scripture. The substance of GOD’s hope is expressed in and through JESUS CHRIST for each and every one of us. Salvation is the fundamental expression of the substance of GOD’s hope for us in CHRIST JESUS.
JESUS CHRIST - the Way, the Truth and the Life - is the conduit of GOD’s faith for a new man and a new creation (see Colossians 1:19-20). The substance of GOD’s hope is what GOD’s Word actually con- tains. And, this substance is an expression of HIS true faith and love towards us.
Psalms 138:2 (NASB) describes this realm of the Word as the Word that stands according to all of the Name of GOD. The Word that stands according to WHO GOD IS and ALL THAT GOD IS. This is the Word that communicates GOD’s perfect will. This is the Word that communi- cates the Mystery of GOD’s will. As John 17:6 a proclaims, JESUS CHRIST came to manifest the "I AM" Name of GOD! John 17:26 declares that the LORD JESUS means to do this in an abiding continuity from within us! And this happens by the HOLY SPIRIT (see John 16:14). The substance of GOD’s hope - which is GOD’s faith - is entirely of JESUS CHRIST (see Colossians 1:19)! For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON! How? Essentially by substance com- municated into a new man! This is why JESUS declared: < I AM the Bread Of Life! > The substance of "I AM" and all that derives from "I AM" is manifested as the Bread of Life through JESUS CHRIST. The Bread Of Life is the substance of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS (see John 1:16-17, NASB+KJV+NKJV).
GOD’s faith is entirely channeled through JESUS CHRIST. And, this is so in order that all things on earth and in heaven will be reconciled unto GOD through HIM!
Colossians 1:19-20 describes this with awesome clarity: < For it was the FATHER’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in HIM (JESUS CHRIST), and through HIM (JESUS CHRIST) to reconcile all things to HIMSELF, having made peace through the Blood of HIS Cross; through HIM (JESUS CHRIST), I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. >
GOD’s Word is designed to communicate HIS faith into us by substance, that we in turn can exercise in an unshakeable confidence and conviction of true faith in GOD! True faith is in effect GOD’s provision!
GOD’s faith is designed to create us in the image and fullness of CHRIST JESUS. This new creation will manifest the evidence that we are each fear- fully and wonderfully made. This evidence will come from the substance of GOD’s faith formed into us in the fullness of CHRIST JESUS.
And, it is GOD’s intent that all that derives from HIS faith, becomes a functional Covenant inheritance and possession from our inward parts, through our conformance to JESUS CHRIST creatively. As Ephesians 2:10 declares, we are the workmanship of GOD created in CHRIST JESUS! This creative faith communication is achieved through the seed of GOD’s Word - which actually contains GOD’s faith - being developed in us (and into us) by the HOLY SPIRIT. The seed of HIS Word that contains HIS faith has the potential of being fully revealed in us in CHRIST JESUS! This creative revelation, in GOD’s will, is fully conformed to CHRIST JESUS being revealed in us through the substance of GOD’s faith - which is entirely expressed as the fullness of CHRIST JESUS. This is why the fullness of CHRIST JESUS is designed in GOD’s will to fill all-in-all (see Ephesians 1:23).
GOD’s Word is the seed of HIS faith. This seed of faith that is GOD’s Word is revealed and communicated in CHRIST JESUS! And in the seed of GOD’s faith, there is a new creation waiting to be revealed - in us and among us - through GOD’s Word (see 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 John 5:10 a and Revelation 3:14 b) being worked into us in the Spirit and Life of CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT.
There are realities in GOD’s faith and love contained in GOD’s Word, that are meant to be perfected and completed into us. The contents of GOD’s Word are to be perfected and completed into us in the image and fullness of CHRIST JESUS! The realities of GOD’s faith and love are perfected and completed into us through the Spirit and Life of CHRIST JESUS. The Spirit and Life of CHRIST JESUS - tried and tested through the Cross - gives true expression to GOD’s faith and love towards us! For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only Begotten SON that whosoever should believe in HIM will have eternal life. This eternal life opens in a new creation fashioned in the image and fullness of the SON. And, this is a living expression of GOD’s faith and love for us! The end result is a new creation fashioned in the image and fullness of the SON and this comes out of GOD’s faith! This new creation functions entirely by faith in HIM! But this faith in HIM, we realized from HIM - through the faith contents of HIS Word worked into us in the Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST. As Hebrews 12:2 a explains, JESUS CHRIST functions as the Author and Finisher of our faith!
We have faith in GOD for what GOD has ordained for us in HIS Word, in HIS faith.
Given that the Word is GOD’s Word! Scripture proclaims that faith comes by hearing by the "Rhema" (or, the "quickened") Word Of GOD (see Romans 10:17, KJV/NKJV). This faith that comes by hearing, is of HIS faith, simply because it is faith released from and through HIS Rhema Word that gives true expression to HIS faith and love for us! This faith is substance - from HIM - that is fully communicable into our inward parts, as we set our hope on HIM (through JESUS CHRIST). Our hope on HIM is our own free will response to HIM through the understanding and acceptance of HIS Word! Please be reminded that this understanding and acceptance of HIS Word comes to us through the Testimony Of JESUS vis a vis the finished work of the Cross.
And, our hope on HIM (JESUS CHRIST) is the necessary ingredient for the communication of HIS faith through the seed of HIS Word - into us! So we become recipients of the faith of GOD through HIS Word quickened to our hearts. HIS quickened Word has the potential of being perfected and completed into our inward parts through "substance" (Greek: "hupostasis").
We realize (or, actualize) the contents of HIS Word - in substance - as we exercise our faith in HIM (through JESUS CHRIST), in the measure of the faith already resident within us (see Romans 12:3 c).
[In Chapter 5, we strongly advocate the use of tongues - as a spiritual tool - to facilitate the realities of the Mystery Of Faith into our inward parts.] The seed of the Word has the potential to germinate and grow in our hearts (see Mark 4:26-28; Mark 4:20-28), in growth measures of 30-fold, 60-fold and 100-fold measures, expressing abiding growth realities that are beyond human conception and human technology. The Scriptures declare that the Word is written into our hearts by the Finger Of GOD. And, this is the work and ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT. The Scripture also says that the substance of our hearts - upon which the Word is written or into which the contents of the Word is formed - is also entirely of GOD. In this reality our hearts become the exclusive work of GOD! This prophetic sequence of thought is described through Exodus 31:18; Exodus 32:15-16 and, 2 Corinthians 3:3, (NKJV+NASB).
[In these passages of Scripture originating from the Old Testament we see that what was prophetically symbolized in the Old Testament - through Moses - under the Law, is brought to actual personal fulfillment in each of our own hearts.
And, this makes us each a peculiar Letter (NASB) of CHRIST or a pecu- liar Epistle (NKJV) of CHRIST.
And, this is the exclusive expression of GOD’s faith and love for us! And, this is the reality that actualizes the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.]
GOD makes Covenant with us through the tablets of our heart! And, this Covenant is a consequence of the seed of HIS Word being planted into our hearts and being caused to grow in maturity into actual Covenant - by substance formed into the tablets of our heart. The Covenant is formed through substance that describes Covenant real- ities that GOD has brought into us through the substance of HIS faith. These Covenant realities are communicated in substance through the Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST! The Word written into our heart becomes a Covenant fashioned out of the substance of GOD’s faith and, in this reality we all become ministers of the New Covenant (see 2 Corinthians 3:6; 2 Corinthians 3:3-6, NKJV and Jeremiah 31:31-34). The substance of GOD’s faith results in a heart of flesh (see 2 Corinthians 3:3, NKJV; Ezekiel 36:26).
JESUS CHRIST is the WORD WHO became flesh (see John 1:14). Through the Testimony Of JESUS - prophetically addressed as "MY Words" or "HIS Words" (see John 6:63 and John 17:8 a; see also Luke 21:33) - GOD’s Word, containing GOD’s faith, becomes flesh in us.
GOD’s Word becomes flesh in us through the Testimony Of JESUS! And this flesh is a construct in the Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST through the substance of HIS faith and love for us (see 1 Timothy 1:14)! HIS Words take actual functional form in us! This happens through sub- stance communicated through the Spirit and Life of CHRIST JESUS, being perfected and completed into our inward parts by the HOLY SPIR- IT as we live the Word. The Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST are the conduits of GOD’s Word in Truth. The Spirit and Life of JESUS CHRIST give actual expression to the Testimony Of JESUS! The Testimony of JESUS - comprising "HIS Words" - communicat- ed in HIS Spirit and HIS Life, enable GOD’s Word to form in us in a heart of flesh (see Ezekiel 36:26; Ezekiel 36:25-27) that is of the substance of the Master’s fullness. This heart of flesh is therefore of the Master’s flesh (see John 6:51).
We become unique Letters or Epistles of CHRIST through hearts of flesh fashioned into us from "HIS Words". This is a creative construct com- municated in substance!
These Epistles or Letters are unique expressions of GOD’s faith brought into us.
We can actually function as Epistles of CHRIST and when we do this we are functioning in the faith of GOD communicated into us in JESUS Name! The heart of flesh - that makes us actual, functioning Epistles of CHRIST - is the communicated reality of GOD’s faith (and love) brought into us through the Testimony Of JESUS!
[See the connection between John 1:14 and John 17:26 c. And this hap- pens through a heart of flesh. See also the connection between Ezekiel 36:26 and 2 Corinthians 3:3 (NKJV). We must eat of the Words that give expression to HIS "I AM" Testimony (see Jeremiah 15:16 and John 6:51).
These "I AM" Words the FATHER gave JESUS (see John 17:8; John 17:7; John 17:6) in order that a Covenant of HIS faith would be formed in us in hearts of flesh realized (or, actualized) out of the Testimony Of JESUS. To eat the Word Of GOD we must hear, understand (Matthew 13:23), accept (Mark 4:20) and, hold fast the Word in good and honest hearts; and, bear fruit with the Word in our living and our doing (Luke 8:15).] The substance of this heart of flesh is of GOD’s faith communicated into us through CHRIST JESUS. And, this heart of flesh is the Testimony Of JESUS actualized in our inward parts! This reality is engineered in the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT! The Testimony Of JESUS actualized is entirely an expression of the faith (and love) of GOD actualized! The substance of this heart of flesh is entirely of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS (see John 1:16-17, NASB/NKJV/KJV). This heart of flesh comes about in the reality that CHRIST JESUS is:
● the Author and Finisher of our faith (see Hebrews 12:2 a), ● the Apostle and High Priest of our confession (see Hebrews 3:1), ● the Mediator of the New Covenant (see Hebrews 9:15; Hebrews 9:13-15), ● the Intercessor, WHO ever lives to intercede for us (see Hebrews 7:25 b). The HOLY SPIRIT engineers this covenant construct into being in us and amongst us so that we increasingly become functioning sons before GOD (see John 16:13-15; Hebrews 10:15-17; Hebrews 8:8-13).
And, this new creation finds expression in us, in the faith of GOD over our lives! AMEN (see Revelation 3:14 b and Ephesians 2:10)! This new creation is in the substance of HIS faith (and love)! AMEN! The substance of GOD’s faith (and love) is exclusively communicated in CHRIST JESUS - in HIS fullness. CHRIST JESUS’ fullness is of the substance of the "I AM" of GOD - in fully subordinate terms - that gives true communication to the faith and love of GOD! AMEN!
Hence we can do all things through CHRIST WHO strengthens us! AMEN! In the faith and love of GOD we are blessed with every spir- itual blessing in the heavenly places - in CHRIST JESUS (see Ephesians 1:3-6)! AMEN!
