1 Samuel 30:20

This is Davids Spoile] i. e. all that the Amalakites had taken from others, save from them of Ziglag. This, by his right, and free consent and gift of his souldiers, he made use of to gratifie his friends, and engage them to him, ver. 26,—31.

1 Samuel 30:24

they shall part alike] They both alike shall have their shares, according to Gods appointment, Num. XXXI. 27,—30. Josh. XXII. 8. Though not both equal shares.
