Joshua 1:2

Within three dayes] This Edict and Proclamation of three dayes, for preparation to passe over Iordan, set down here, doth begin and commence after the History of the two Spies, and their returne to Ioshua; which History yet is recorded after in the Chapter following. And thereupon the mention of the said three dayes is taken up again the second time, Ch. III. 2. when new directions are given for their Passage, and the manner of it.
