Judges 9:2

Threescore and ten persons] So ver. 18, 24, 56. and Ch. VIII. 30. The whole number designed to slaughter, though the youngest of them Iotham escaped; and Abimelech himself was the murderer. And this is a thing usual in the Scripture. As Gen. XLII. 13. Num. XIV. 32, 33. 1 Cor. XV. 5.
