Proverbs 20:8

scattereth] Verse 26. Psal. CI. 5. The sword of justice is to be furbished with the oile of mercie; yet there are cases wherein severity ought to cast the scale. And this Kings best do, when they sit in the throne themselves; and leave not all alwayes to Judges under them.

Proverbs 20:11

a childe] Is, or should be known by his doings: early shewes his inclination; and how he is like to prove afterwards: and from his childhood it self should be a plaine dealer, without any hypocrisie.
