Exodus 17:3

That killeth an ox, or lamb.

That killeth an ox or lamb, with an intention of sacrifice unto God.

Exodus 17:12

But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took, &c.

And Moses grew faint in body, with long continuance of that earnest prayer; insomuch as his hands grew weary and remiss with lifting up: and they took, &c.
