Numbers 32:20

If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war.

On this condition, that ye will go armed in the front of the battle, before the people of the Lord; and by this means testify your courage and forwardness, that all Israel may know, it is not out of any cowardice or fear, that you take up your stations NUMBERS, CHAP. XXVII.—XXXVI.; DEUTERONOMY, CHAP. I. II. on this side Jordan, but only for the greater convenience of the place; I shall yield, that your portion shall light where you have desired.
