There was room for almost every person to testify his zeal by some offering; for while the wealthy could bring gold and precious stones, the poorer class might furnish the skins and the hair of goats; and the women spun the goats’ hair for the tent coverings (ver. 26); as is done to this day by the females among the Bedouins (ep. 2 Cor. ix. 7).
