Daniel 10:1

abominations (Cf) Matthew 24:15. The expression occurs three times in Daniel. In; Daniel 9:27; Daniel 12:11 the reference is to the “Beast,” “man of sin”; 2 Thessalonians 2:3; 2 Thessalonians 2:4 and is identical with Matthew 24:15. In Daniel 11:31 the reference is to the act of Antiochus Epiphanes, the prototype of the man of sin, who sacrificed a sow upon the altar, and entered the holy of holies.

prince of Dan 10:20. The intimation is clear that as the holy angels are sent forth in behalf of the heirs of salvation, so demons are concerned in behalf of the world-system of Satan. John 7:7; Revelation 13:8.
