XXXVI.—How honourable is it when agents in the church are men faithful, and to be trusted!—when private members are so liberal that they need to be restrained!—and when rulers dare allow nothing to be taken but what is sufficient! And hopeful is the building of the church when men’s first care is about that which is most secret and inward!
