Proverbs 2:4

Judah - Or Israel, one tribe being put for all. Judah he mentions as the chief of all the tribes.

Proverbs 2:6

The mountains - Horeb and Sinai, two tops of one mountain, and other neighbouring mountains.

Proverbs 2:9

Tremble - The mountains did more than what was fit at the appearance of the great God.

Proverbs 2:19

Are like them - As void of all sense or reason as their images.

Proverbs 2:20

Their - Who trust in him.

Proverbs 2:21

Aaron - You priests and Levites.

Proverbs 2:22

Ye that fear - All of you who worship the true God, not only Israelites, but even Gentile proselytes.
