Westcott's Commentaries
Brooke Foss Westcott (1825–1901) was an English biblical scholar, Bishop of Durham, and Regius Professor of Divinity at Cambridge, best known for his collaboration with F.J.A. Hort in producing the landmark critical edition of the Greek New Testament. His commentaries on the Gospel of John, Hebrews, and the Epistles of John are monuments of nineteenth-century New Testament scholarship, combining meticulous textual analysis with profound theological and spiritual insight.
