For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive: and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Psalms 86:5.

Oh, the blood to me so dear,

Saving now from guilt and fear;

Cleansing now my heart within,

Making free from self and sin.

To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgive- nesses, though we have rebelled against him. Daniel 9:9.
