Phurah

The steward of Gideon, (Judg. 7: 10, 11.) derived from Parah, to bear.

Phu’rah. (bough). Gideon’s servant, probably his armor-bearer, compare 1Sa 14:1, who accompanied him, in his midnight visit to the camp of the Midianites. Jdg 7:10-11.
