God Is Slowly Conforming Us Into The Image of Christ (Clip)

Carter Conlon · 0:39

Carter Conlon teaches that God gradually transforms believers into Christ's likeness through subtle, often unnoticed changes in their thoughts, speech, and actions.
This sermon emphasizes the subtle yet transformative changes that occur in a person's life when they walk with God. It highlights how our conversations, thoughts, speech, and interactions with others gradually reflect this change, even if we may not notice it immediately due to the slow nature of growth. The importance of being prepared to share the reason for the hope within us, as our message can be a source of light and encouragement to others, akin to the angels' message of good news and great joy for all people.

Full Transcript

We don't necessarily know that we're changing the way we are. Our conversation is changing, the way we think is changing, the way we speak is starting to change, the way we reach out and touch people is changing. We don't realize it because the growth seems to be so slow sometimes when you start small. But other people look and they see it. That's why the Bible says, be ready now when people ask you for a reason for the hope that is in you. Be ready because your message is going to be the same as the angels. What I have to tell you is good news of great joy to all people.
