Our days have declined in our fury. We have finished our years like a sigh. As for the days of our life, they contain 70 years, or if due to strength, 80 years.
Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for soon it is gone and we fly away. You know, it's amazing. Soon it is gone.
All our days are but labor, trials. They're gone. They come and they go.
We have to remember this in everything that we do. What is our focus in this life? Who understands the power of your anger and your fury according to the fear that is due thee? Verse 12, so teach us to number our days that we may present to thee a heart of wisdom. Teach us to number our days so that we may present to you a heart of wisdom.
You know, when you take into account that our days are short, we're going to have more of a heavenly perspective and not so much of an earthly perspective.
