O great God, you say in your Psalms that people shall be willing in the day of that power. Lord, give us that old time religion, the time when Christianity changed the world, instead of the world changing Christianity. Lord, give us the courage to face ourselves and take an appraisal, to take an honest look in the mirror like the apostle exhorts, and examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith.

Prove yourselves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates. O great God almighty, you who dwell among the cherubim and seraphim, whose name is holy, come visit us with your manifest presence in our churches once again. Let us know what it's like to experience the power of God in a meeting again.

Give us preachers the boldness not to be politically correct, but to call sin black and hell hot, and to warn folks of a future judgment that awaits all mankind, not to condone perversion, but to call it out as the abomination that it is in God's eyes. O heavenly King, send us some prophets in a day of apostasy. Send us men like Jonah, who have emerged from the deep waters of purging and preparation, to go out in stride across our cities, crying out in God's name for repentance, and by the power of God, to drive a nation to its knees in sackcloth and ashes, that God would raise up a band of fearless preachers, who when they preached a crucified Christ, that mockers would be converted, families would be restored, laws would be changed, churches would be transformed, and the lives of those there would be impacted for Christ in eternity, that the hammer of justice would fall on all crooked politicians and rotten judges to the removal, and that the government would call a moratorium on sin instead of condoning and promoting it, that pastors of our churches would not fear their deacons more than they fear God, and that with a holy boldness, preach hard against sin once again in the land, that instead of supporting godless Hollywood entertainment, they would call for a boycott on it and a dismantling of it, that women who go out in public half naked will once again be charged with indecent exposure, so they'll learn to have a sense of shame, and oh Lord, I pray that this nation will learn to blush at sin again rather than stampede into it, that the God in heaven will send a spiritual awakening in the land, turn a nation back to the God of the Bible, that the churches across the land will fall to their knees in repentance and tears and prayer and crowd and desperation, do it again Lord, do it again, give us that old time religion once again, I pray these things in the strong name of Jesus, Amen.
