You're either out and out for God or on the out and outs with God. If you're in a lay of the sea condition, then you either need to stick your head in a bucket of ice water to wake up or go sit on some hot coals until you catch fire and jump up, but you need to do something or you'll just ride out and be good for nothing. 7. God can't use anyone who is neutral, but God can use anyone who is combustible.

Jesus said, take up your cross and follow me. He didn't say, go your own way and ask me to follow you. Jesus is not impressed that you run 3,000 on Sunday.

Most of the time, he ran only 12. Jesus said, tarry in the city until you are endued with power from on high. He didn't say, go out into the city unendued and without power.

Jesus didn't build institutions to be occupied. He built individuals to go out and occupy. Sin is the blackest, darkest, vilest, filthiest, staining thing in the world.

But though your sins are like scarlet, they should be as white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they should be as wool. But you must get your sins under Christ's blood.

If God is a dynamite God who does super duper things, then how come your life is just a dud? God is looking for the individual who is willing to lose it all so Christ can be there all in all. If you're a pastor and you don't preach repentance, then you've never repented yourself. The church that's in a self-preservation is an institution full of itself with no room for the Christ who sacrificed himself.

If you're on your couch watching tv more than you're on your face in prayer and in your bible, then you have no reality of God in your life. If holiness is not something you pursue, then worldliness is something you enjoy. An empty religious profession means you are a church member in good standing who is self-satisfied resting upon a rotten foundation of self-love, self-ambition, self-reliance, and self-righteousness.

If you think you're good enough for heaven and not bad enough for hell, then you're still in need of salvation. Vital Christianity means you are empty of self and full of the Holy Ghost. You are either a man of God or a man of the world.

How long will you haunt you between two opinions? You can't serve God while you're playing footsie with the world. Christ held nothing back at Calvary. He won't accept anything less than an absolute surrender.

Revival is something we need when we're not right, and when we're not right we need revival. Faith and obedience go hand in hand like biscuits and gravy. You can't have one without the other.

Are you advancing the Great Commission or are you advancing just your net worth? Your investment portfolio won't be worth a hill of beans in light of eternity. The person who has to have first place in line, first place in life, first place at the dinner table, and first grab at the food is the last one to realize their plate is empty in eternity. The world's philosophy is he who has the most toys at the end wins.

Christians' philosophy is opposite to that, for he knows you can't take any toys into eternity. Only immortal souls go there. Souls going either to heaven or to hell, depending upon your philosophy.

When you booze, you lose. Do you drink booze? We're all gonna die, some sooner or later. If you go all out for Christ and the gospel, you may run a shorter course like a Stephen or a Brainerd, or you may run long like a Abraham or a Moses.

But either way, all that really matters is not how long you lived your life for Christ and the gospel, but how well.
