Calling on God - Part 6

Welcome to a dead halt for lack of faith. God has not placed any limit on your asking. Is there any excuse for our sluggish asking? Is there any excuse for our small expectations? To say He is an almighty God? What does almighty mean? He can do anything.

No limits. Why do you put a limit on your faith? Why don't you ask God for more faith? Why don't you ask God for a faith which honors Him? Why don't you pray for a faith which does injustice? So many people in debts. I feel very sad when I see people in debts.

God is able to lift you out of your debts. How can you serve God freely when you have a heavy debt hanging over you? Without faith, it is impossible to please God. No, not so.

He asked God for a double portion. You have got a million, Elijah. But you have a God who is an unlimited amount.

So give me two million. Can you ask such an absurd thing? You have only one million in your pocket. You have said, ask what you want.

But I want two million. Boldly ask Him. The Bible says, Approach His throne with boldness.

When you have a clean heart, When you can lift up holy hands, You can ask a God who is limitless, unlimited things. Now, if you turn to the book of Ephesians, And the prayer of St. Paul for the Ephesian church, Let us quickly see this before we close. Ephesians, third chapter, please.

For this cause, I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. And what does He pray on His knees? That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, To be strengthened by might, by His Spirit, in the inner man. See, we are all worried about the outer man.

How is my face? Oh, this looking glass. This mirror does not do me any justice. I must look better than this.

This photographer did not do a good job. See, my bald head has come out glistening. Now listen, you can find fault with the mirror.

You can find fault with the photographer. No, no, no, no. God looks at the inner man.

How is this man inside? Somehow, we do not represent strength in the inner man. There is a standard reply for this question. Sometimes, you know, I go to the doctor's office.

There is a very common question in America. How are you today? Standard reply. Fine.

Even little fellows say, fine. So, people greet one another in the clinic. How are you? Fine.

If you are fine, why are you in the clinic? I am sometimes amused at this kind of hypocrisy. But that is a common thing. How is your inner man today? Can you say, fine? No.

People have complaints. People have murmurings. People have fears.

My doctor examined my eyes. He had operated on my eyes. What did he say? You have twenty-twenty vision.

That is perfect vision. So, I put away my glasses. I give glory to God.

It was a great inconvenience to be carrying my glasses with me. You know, I have enough things to carry. Listen friends.
