But, you know the subject of our brother Poe's preaching, to be wholly sanctified, when that does not happen, there will be certain things in our lives, which are aberrations and ugly manifestations. And, the atmosphere is vitiated. Way to hear of pollution, pollution, eh? Everywhere. But, we never hear of carnal pollution. Today's society is deluged by pollution of the heart, and of the mind, and of the imagination. But, whenever we talk of sanctification, or even conversion, are we breaking through this pollution? Are we dispersing this pollution, in the sense that we are causing it to get away? Are you removing the pollution from the talk in your own family? We have to reduce these things to actual, practical situations. Are your minds so full of pollution, that they are so foggy, and truth does not get through to you? Let me tell you, that is the state of many people today. They are so obsessed and fearful of the problems around them. And, when I see people obsessed with their problems, I say, these people have not seen Jesus. All we need to do is to bring Jesus into the situation. And, this pollution will vanish. The fog and the smoke will be gone. And, you will breathe the free air of heaven. No dear friend, how many of us who are here, have come resolved in our heart to see Jesus. I am shocked and displeased with habitual, formal Christianity. Conventions go on, and even revival meetings can go on. And, you can just have an expression, and no experience there. No. How can our hearts be satisfied with anything but Jesus? When I look at the Christian world, it is so cluttered. You know, electronics is all the time advancing. So, people are obsessed with electronics. The latest instruments, the latest music, the latest choruses. And, doctrines. Dead old doctrines. High doctrinal statements. And, low living. No, I am not interested in those things. Sir, we would see Jesus. No dear friends, do you symbolize, or in some small measure, show for Jesus? You know, a Christian face, has much written on it. If there are question marks in your heart, they are generally seen on your face. I don't see radiant faces, very often. I see screwed up faces. I say, hey, there is darkness in the face of this very person. There is no shine there, of the beauty of Jesus. It is just a reflection of their heart's condition. Listen friends, you don't need to put on smiles.
