To Hobart s (p. 37) medical instances of this rare verb, which is confined in the NT to Lk ( Act_5:5 ; Act_5:10 ; Act_12:23 ), we may now add Herodas iv. 29 οὐκ ἐρεῖς αὐτήν , | ἢν μὴ λάβῃ τὸ μῆλον , ἐκ τάχα ψύξειν , where the tmesis gives a gasping effect that suits the sense admirably.
