ἐμπορία. For this NT ἅπ. εἰρ. (Mt 22°) see P Giss I. οὗ ἀποστάντ[ο]ς els ᾿Οᾶσιν évroplas χάριν, ‘‘for the sake of business.” In P Oxy I. 76! (a.p. 179) the words κατά τινα ἐμπορίαν have been erased in the original. Cf. also Sy// 118* (mid. iv/B.c.) ἐπιδημῶσιν κατ᾽ ἐμπορίαν ᾿Αθήνησι, OG/S 6291%4 (A.D. 137) ὅσα εἰς ἐμπορείαν φέρεται.
