to have enough, to be satiated to have enough, often with the implication of even more than enough This first statement in 1CO 4:8 is probably to be understood ironically, and therefore it may be readily translated as a question, for example, ‘do you already have everything you need?’ or as a statement referring to what the people of Corinth evidently presumed, for example, ‘you think you already have all you need.’ For another interpretation of κορέννυμι in 1CO 4:8, see 25.80.
