κύκλος. For the dat. κύκλῳ used adverbially “ round about,” as in Rev 4°, see CPR I. 4219 κύκλῳ τοῦ χωρίου : cf. P Fay 1107 (A.D. 94) τὰ κύκλωι τοῦ ἐλαιουργίου ἔξωθεν σκάψον ἐπὶ βαθός, ““αἷσ a deep trench round the oil-press outside ” (Edd.), P Tebt 11. 342° (late ii/A.D.) τοῦ Kepap(elov) ἐν κύκλῳ αὐτίοῦ) ψ[ι]Ἱλοῦ τόπου, ‘‘the vacant space surrounding the pottery”?
