Christ's Reign

6 sermons

The biblical concept of Christ's Reign refers to the sovereign rule of Jesus Christ over all creation, as proclaimed in Scripture. According to Psalms 110:1-2, God has appointed Christ to sit at His right hand, reigning over His enemies until they are made a footstool for His feet. In 1 Corinthians 15:25, the apostle Paul writes that Christ will reign until all His enemies are defeated, and then He will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, demonstrating the ultimate authority and power of Christ's reign. As stated in Revelation 19:6, Christ's reign is also characterized by the righteous judgment and salvation of His people, fulfilling the promise of God's eternal kingdom, where He will reign forever (Psalms 103:19).
