The Feasts of Israel, as outlined in the Bible, are a series of sacred celebrations that hold significant spiritual and prophetic meaning, particularly in relation to the Christian faith. In Leviticus 23:1-2, God instructs the Israelites to observe these feasts, which include the Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Tabernacles, among others, as a way to commemorate and honor His presence in their lives. As noted in Colossians 2:16-17, these feasts also serve as a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ and the redemption He would bring, with many Christians today continuing to observe them as a way to deepen their understanding of biblical prophecy and the fulfillment of scripture, such as in Psalms 118:22-23, which prophesies the rejection and subsequent exaltation of Jesus. Through the Feasts of Israel, Christians can gain a richer understanding of the historical and theological context of their faith, and appreciate the intricate connections between the Old and New Testaments.
