Living in Holiness

10 sermons

Living in holiness is a fundamental aspect of the Christian faith, rooted in the biblical command to "be holy, for I am holy" (Leviticus 11:44-45). This concept is reiterated in the New Testament, where believers are urged to present their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God (Romans 12:1), and to pursue holiness without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). As Christians strive to live in holiness, they are reminded that God works all things together for their good, including their sanctification (Romans 8:28), and that they are called to walk in the Spirit, guided by the fruit of the Spirit, such as love, joy, and peace (Galatians 5:22-23). By living in holiness, believers reflect the character of God and demonstrate their commitment to following Jesus Christ.
