The Glory of Jesus

0 sermons

The Glory of Jesus is a central theme in Christian theology, referring to the divine splendor and majesty of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. In the Bible, Jesus' glory is often associated with his divine nature and his role as the redeemer of humanity, as seen in John 1:14, where it is written, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." The glory of Jesus is also closely tied to the concept of God's glory, as expressed in Isaiah 6:3, where the seraphim cry out, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory." Through his life, death, and resurrection, Jesus reveals the glory of God, and as stated in 2 Corinthians 4:6, "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
