In times of isolation or difficulty, the Bible offers comfort and reassurance that God is always present. According to Isaiah, He promises to strengthen and help those who feel alone, saying "do not be afraid, for I am with you" (Isaiah 41:10). The book of Genesis notes that even in the beginning, God recognized that humanity was not meant to be alone, creating companionship for Adam (Genesis 2:18). The New Testament letters, such as Romans and Hebrews, affirm that nothing can separate believers from God's love, and that He will never leave or forsake them (Romans 8:35-39, Hebrews 13:5-6), while James encourages those who are suffering to pray and seek support from the community of faith (James 5:13).

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.
Is any one of you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. The LORD God also said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make for him a suitable helper.”
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you and prove you a liar.
But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. On account of My name they will deliver you to the synagogues and prisons, and they will bring you before kings and governors. This will be your opportunity to serve as witnesses. So make up your mind not to worry beforehand how to defend yourselves. For I will give you speech and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts gain rich understanding. His praise endures forever!
