In the grand tapestry of God's creation, animals play a significant role, and Scripture hints at their presence in the redeemed world to come. According to Isaiah, a future era of peace is envisioned where predators and prey coexist in harmony, with the wolf dwelling with the lamb and the leopard lying down with the goat. The book of Revelation suggests that all creatures, including animals, will join in worshiping God, as every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea is heard saying, "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power." The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time.
