15 Bible Verses on Avoidance

15 verses

In following God's will, believers are called to separate themselves from influences that undermine their faith. The apostle Paul instructs Titus to warn divisive individuals and, if they persist, to avoid them, as seen in Titus 3:10. Similarly, Romans 16:17 cautions against those who cause discord, while 2 John 1:8 warns against losing reward by supporting false teachers. The Bible also teaches that love for the world, as described in 1 John 2:15-17, can be a hindrance to a deep relationship with God, and Jesus' own words in John 14:27 encourage His followers to find peace in Him, rather than in the turmoil of the world.
