16 Bible Verses on Brothers and Sisters in Christ

16 verses

In the family of God, believers are united as brothers and sisters through their shared faith in Christ. As Jesus taught in Matthew, spiritual relationships can be even closer than biological ones, and His followers are to regard one another as siblings. The apostle John emphasized that love for fellow believers is a fundamental aspect of Christian discipleship, as seen in 1 John. The New Testament letters, such as Romans and 1 Timothy, provide guidance on how to live out this sibling relationship in practical ways, including showing respect and care for one another, as also instructed by Jesus in John.
