8 Bible Verses on Children

8 verses

In the biblical view, children are a precious gift from God, bringing joy and fulfillment to families. According to Psalms 127:3-5, they are a heritage and a reward, and parents are entrusted with the responsibility of training them in the ways of the Lord, as Proverbs 22:6 advises. The book of Genesis establishes the importance of children in God's plan, with the command to be fruitful and multiply given to humanity in Genesis 1:28. Ephesians 6:4 reminds fathers of their duty to bring up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, nurturing their spiritual growth and development.
