According to Scripture, God's people are specially selected for a unique purpose and relationship with Him. In John 15:16, Jesus teaches that His disciples are chosen by Him to bear fruit, while 1 Peter 2:9 describes believers as a chosen people, called to proclaim God's praises. The apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 1:4-5 that God chose believers before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless, and in Romans 8:28-30, he explains that those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. This divine selection is rooted in God's sovereign love and grace.
