10 Bible Verses on Content

10 verses

In God's economy, a sense of inner satisfaction and peace is not dependent on external circumstances, but rather on a deep trust in His presence and provision. As the author of Hebrews reminds us, God has promised never to leave or forsake us, giving us great confidence in His care. The apostle Paul, in his letters to the Corinthians and Philippians, models this contentment, even in the midst of hardship and weakness, saying he has learned to be content in any situation. Meanwhile, wise counsel in Proverbs and 1 Timothy cautions against the dangers of discontentment and the love of money, encouraging instead a humble and grateful heart.
