9 Bible Verses on Covenants

9 verses

God's relationships with humanity are rooted in covenants, solemn agreements that establish reciprocal obligations and promises. In the Psalms, we see God's faithfulness to His covenants, as He remembers and honors them, such as the covenant with David in Psalms 89:34. The book of Psalms also recounts the covenant with Abraham, highlighting God's promise to be his God and the God of his descendants, as seen in Psalms 105:8-11. Additionally, prophets like Isaiah and Ezekiel reference covenants, emphasizing God's commitment to His people, as in Isaiah 54:10 and Ezekiel 16:59, while historical accounts like 1 Samuel 18:3 demonstrate the significance of covenants in human relationships, reflecting God's own covenantal nature.
