15 Bible Verses on God Loves Me

15 verses

The depth of God's love for humanity is a profound theme throughout Scripture. In John 3:16, we see the ultimate expression of this love, where God gives His only Son for the salvation of the world. Romans 5:8 and 8:35-39 reaffirm this love, demonstrating that nothing can separate us from God's devotion, not even suffering or hardship. Isaiah 41:10 and 1 John 4:16 also assure us of God's enduring love and care, reminding us that we are not alone or forsaken, but are instead cherished by our heavenly Father. This unwavering love is the foundation of our relationship with God.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.
And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love; whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving devotion.
We love because He first loved us.
The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.”
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love, will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
And love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion and faithfulness.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
The LORD is on my side; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
