In a world filled with turmoil and uncertainty, the Bible offers a profound promise of inner calm and tranquility. Jesus teaches His followers that He has given them His peace, a gift that transcends worldly troubles, as seen in John 14:27 and John 16:33. The prophet Isaiah writes of God's ability to keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast on Him, as expressed in Isaiah 26:3. This peace of mind is also a fruit of trusting prayer, as Paul encourages believers to bring their anxieties to God in Philippians 4:6-7, and is a hallmark of a mind set on the Spirit, as described in Romans 8:6.
