14 Bible Verses on Relying on God

14 verses

In times of uncertainty and need, Scripture encourages believers to trust in God's sovereignty and provision. The prophet Isaiah reminds us that God takes hold of our right hand, saying "Do not fear, for I am with you" (Isaiah 41:13), while the apostle Paul instructs us to present our anxieties to God in prayer, with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6). The wisdom literature, such as Proverbs, advises us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, acknowledging His guidance and direction (Proverbs 3:5-6). Psalms and 1 Corinthians also offer reassurance of God's presence and help in temptation, reminding us that He is our rock and deliverer (Psalms 18:2, 1 Corinthians 10:13).
