The Psalmist declares, "This is the day which the Lord hath made," and believers are encouraged to rejoice and be glad in it, as seen in Psalms 118:24. Jesus teaches His followers to focus on the current day, not worrying about tomorrow, as emphasized in Matthew 6:34 and Mark 11:24. The Bible also reminds us that our plans are subject to God's sovereignty, as James 4:13-15 cautions against presuming upon the future, while Zephaniah 3:17 reveals the Lord's delight in those who wait on Him.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

But exhort one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
