In Scripture, the season of youth is portrayed as a time of great potential and responsibility. The book of Ecclesiastes encourages young people to remember their Creator and follow God's ways, warning them to be mindful of their actions and their impact on their future (Ecclesiastes 11:9, 12:1). The prophet Jeremiah's call to ministry as a young man, as recorded in Jeremiah 1:4-8, demonstrates God's ability to use anyone, regardless of age, for His purposes. According to 1 Timothy 4:12, young believers are to set an example for others in their speech, conduct, and faith, and Psalms 119:9 reminds them that following God's Word is essential for living a pure and upright life.

The word of the LORD came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” “Ah, Lord GOD,” I said, “I surely do not know how to speak, for I am only a child!” But the LORD told me: “Do not say, ‘I am only a child.’ For to everyone I send you, you must go, and all that I command you, you must speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you,” declares the LORD.

You must not make any cuts in your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD.
Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
