33Even after these events, Jeroboam did not repent of his evil ways, but again he appointed priests for the high places from every class of people. He ordained anyone who desired to be a priest of the high places. 34And this was the sin of the house of Jeroboam that led to its extermination and destruction from the face of the earth.Cross References

1 Kings 13:32 Summary
The verse 1 Kings 13:32 is saying that the message spoken by the man of God against the altar in Bethel and the shrines in Samaria will definitely happen. This message was given by God, and it's a warning to the people to turn away from their idols and back to the one true God (Deuteronomy 6:13-15). The prophet's request to be buried beside the man of God shows that he believes in the truth of the prophecy and wants to be associated with it.
