Isaiah 49:22 Summary
[Isaiah 49:22 tells us that God will lift up His hand to the nations and raise His banner, which means He will show His power and presence to all the nations, as seen in Isaiah 11:10. He will bring back His people, Israel, and the nations will help and care for them, like a parent carrying a child, which points to the future time when the nations will serve and honor Israel, as mentioned in Isaiah 61:5-6. This is a promise of restoration and care, and it reminds us that God is always working to bring about good for His people, as seen in Jeremiah 29:11. As we trust in God's power and providence, we can have confidence that He will fulfill His promises, just like He did for Israel, and that gives us hope for our own lives and circumstances.]
