Numbers 15:30 Summary
This verse is saying that when we knowingly and intentionally disobey God's laws, it's like we're saying 'no' to God Himself, which is a very serious thing. This kind of sin is called 'defiant' sin, and it can have severe consequences, as seen in Numbers 15:30-31. But when we sin unintentionally, we can be forgiven, as seen in Numbers 15:28. The key is to have a humble and repentant heart, as seen in 1 John 1:8-9, and to seek forgiveness and obey God's laws, as seen in Psalm 119:10-11 and John 14:15.
