Psalms 15

Psalms 15:1

WHo shall abide in thy tabernacle?] Psal. 24. 3, &c.

abide] Heb. sojourn.

who shall dwell in thy holy hill?] Many come to worship thee, but who shall dwell with thee for ever? See v. 5.

holy hill?] Heb. hill of holinesse.

Psalms 15:2

He that walketh uprightly] Isaiah 33:15. He that goeth to heaven, must live uprightly, do well to others, and speak truth.

in] Or, with.

in his heart] Rather, with his heart; for an hypocrite may think right, and yet lye with his tongue.

Psalms 15:3

taketh] Or, receiveth, or endweth.

Psalms 15:4

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned] He makes no account of evil men, though they be great, 2 Kings 3. 14. Esth. 3. 2. Psalms 101:4.

and changeth not] He that will not hinder his neighbour, though he hinder himself, v. 4.

Psalms 15:5

He that puteth not out his money to usury] Exodus 22:25. Leviticus 25:36. Deuteronomy 23:19. Ezekiel 18:8. and Ezekiel 22:12.

taketh reward against the innocent] Exodus 23:7-8. Deuteronomy 16:19.

shall never be moved] Out of an happie estate, into which he is entred already, psal. 55. 22. Proverbs 10:30. and Proverbs 12:3. he shall not be cast forth of the Church as an hypocrite. See v. 1.
