Striking Facts: Law proposes life and righteousness as the end to be attained by keeping it, but proves at the outset that man is in a state of death (Romans 5:20; Romans 7:7; Romans 7:13; Romans 3:20). Life and righteousness cannot come by that which only curses, but only through the grace of God in Christ.
