Leviticus 1:1-17

Conclusion: Utter dependence upon the sacrifices, typifying the great sacrifice of Christ on which the iniquity of us all was laid is God’s requirement. (The laying on of the offerer’s hands signified identification of the believer with his offering).

Striking Facts: The burnt offering stands for Christ who offered Himself without spot to God in delight to do the Father’s will even unto death. Fire, symbol of God’s holiness, consumes the offering.
