"Count up your mercies," girls, and see how many they are; then count up your chances for receiving more mercies, and find out how even more numerous they are. If you do not get any comfort out of this, why, you haven't counted right. You have left hundreds uncounted. Then look closer, and try it over again.

And to be true, and speak my soul, when I survey the occurrences of my life, and call into account the finger of God.
