God's Vision for the Church

10 sermons

God's vision for the Church, as revealed in the Bible, is a unified body of believers that embodies the love and character of Christ, with each member working together in harmony to fulfill God's purposes (Ephesians 4:13, Romans 12:4-5). This vision is rooted in God's desire for a people who would be set apart for His glory, as expressed in Exodus 19:5-6, where God declares His intention to make the Israelites a "kingdom of priests and a holy nation." As the Church strives to fulfill this vision, it is guided by the promise that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Through the Church, God aims to demonstrate His wisdom and love to a world in need, ultimately bringing glory to Himself and redemption to humanity (Psalms 23:1, Ephesians 3:10).
