14 Bible Verses on Fear

14 verses

In the face of uncertainty and adversity, God's people are reminded not to let anxiety control them. According to Isaiah 41:10, believers can find comfort in the promise that God is with them, strengthening and helping them. The apostle Paul writes in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has given believers a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline, rather than one of fear. The Psalms, such as Psalms 34:4, and Joshua 1:9 also encourage trusting in God's presence and power, while 1 John 4:18 notes that perfect love drives out fear, pointing to the ultimate source of courage and peace in Christ.
